Breakers at State Carnival

Judy Cameron, Judy Stannard, Margaret McCreadie and Lesley Mason competed in section 6 of the 2018 State Carnival held at Illawarra from May 21-25.  They had four wins from 6 matches.  Well done ladies.

Our other team of Margaret Hickman, Sue Staples, Linda McGrath and Kim Trethewy also did well and won 3 of their 6 games.

Club Championships

Jan Curtis is our new Club Champion for 2018.  She defeated Sally Murphy in the final on Tuesday and was presented the trophy by Past President Jill King.

A hard day at the office for our girls at the Hetherington Trophy Competition held at The Entrance today.  Defeated by Golden Hind, the eventual winners of the trophy was surely no disgrace.

Golden Hind were very worthy winners of the prestigious trophy which has had a fine tradition for over 50 years.  All district clubs entered teams. 

Linda McGrath was asked to umpire for the district and performed very well.

Our loyal followers, Derek, Judy, Fay, Rhonda, Sheila, Yvonne, Helen and Anne enjoyed the sunshine and bowls.
